    Hazy memory tells me it should be Web 3.11 For Workgroups – better be careful, if we skip a version of the web the next set of patches might not apply cleanly.

  3. Um, on yeah 3.11… um, actually – I was referring to the version that was released 6 months before 3.11, in October 1992 which came with SMB file sharing support via the NetBIOS based NBF and/or IPX network transport protocols, and included the Hearts card game.

    I promise!

  4. LoL, must be some weird arse synchronicity on this one, I have just drilled out (destroyed) my last hard drive with Windows 3.11 for Workgroups on it, of an old test computer.. strange!!
