I've had the first Boony that I got sent by my brother who lives in Australia before the series began.Boony used to pipe up at ridiculous times of the day and scare the hell out of me. He hasn't spoken for ages but I simply changed the batteries 15 mins ago. I thought there was no chance of him talking. Howeever, Just after putting the new batteries in I started watching "Boony and Beefy - Interviewed on 9" on You Tube. Suddenly, as David Boon during interview (whilst talking about the Aussie Ashes 2005 team) says " They might be old - but they're bloody good" Talking Boony pipes up " I'll drink to that" How spooky is that !! My talking Boony started up again the other day and scared the crap out of me. He's been going off today, demanding nachos, beer, and telling me the code word is "ball" about 20 times. Thank god I found this site that gave me some idea about what was going on. I thought that it might have been reactivated by satelite in soidarity with Boony's fellow Tasmanians down the mine! BTW the marketing genius that brought Boony to life comes from my home town. He's really gunnna put us on the map now that Cliff Young is dead. Help!
